Stuart and Jenny Stott welcome you to their bed and breakfast at Beech Hill House.

Situated in the South Lakes not far from Grange-over-Sands the house is in an unspoilt corner of the Lake District National Park in the English Lake District.

Just 8 minutes from the M6 J36 and just off the A590 at Witherslack our guest house is, we've been told, one of the best in the area and is very easy to find. It's size being deceiving from the road because it's almost as deep as it's long.

king-size en-suite room with seating area

Beech Hill House is ideal for business use,
stop-overs, weekends away and short breaks,
holidays and touring the English Lake District
and South Lakes Furness Peninsulas.

Guest Sitting Room

The en-suite king-size bedded rooms are large and spacious and have views overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside. Tastefully decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind with many 'home from home' comforts we guarantee a warm and friendly welcome with individual service.

Our 2 luxury double en-suite rooms have king size beds and one room has its own private balcony with table and chairs along with access to a private enclosed garden and the drive.

Our superior en-suite family room has a king-size bed along with a single so can be used as double, twin or family room with a child over the age of 10 years.

Our village pub is 50 yards along the road, serves nice food and lets dogs in. A variety of other pubs, cafes, restaurants and take-aways are also just a short drive away.

Our bed and breakfast accommodation is ideally situated because of the road network making the Lake District towns and villages, along with the Furness Peninsular, North Lancashire and western end of the Yorkshire Dales easily accessible.

Quote from a guest

"The thing I like about
staying here is that
you are easy to find
and we are away from
the crowds. If we want
to go where its busy we
can and with only a short
drive we can go anywhere
in the Lake District and
the Furness Peninsular or
even into the Yorkshire
Dales and Lancashire. It
makes this location
so perfect."
Lake Windermere, Coniston Lake and the surrounding mountains and fells are all nearby and Barrow-in-Furness on the Lake District Furness Peninsula is only a 35 minute drive away. The market town of Kendal is only a short drive as is Levens Hall with it's topiary gardens, Sizergh Castle, Holker Hall, Haverthwaite Steam Railway, Cartmel Racecourse, the coastal town of Grange-Over-Sands, Dalton, Ulverston, Morecambe Bay and Arnside.
