Quote from a guest

"The thing I like about
staying here is that
you are easy to find
and we are away from
the crowds. If we want
to go where its busy we
can and with only a short
drive we can go anywhere
in the Lake District and
the Furness Peninsular or
even into the Yorkshire
Dales and Lancashire. It
makes this location
so perfect."
Lake Windermere, Coniston Lake and the surrounding mountains and fells are all nearby and Barrow-in-Furness on the Lake District Furness Peninsula is only a 35 minute drive away. The market town of Kendal is only a short drive as is Levens Hall with it's topiary gardens, Sizergh Castle, Holker Hall, Haverthwaite Steam Railway, Cartmel Racecourse, the coastal town of Grange-Over-Sands, Dalton, Ulverston, Morecambe Bay and Arnside.
