Brilliant break
We had a 3 night stay at beech hill house staying in room 3. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. home cooked breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Probably will never stay anywhere else now when visiting the lake district. would prefer breakfast to be served 8 til 9 rather than 8 til 8.30 but that's the only slightly negative comment. If you want to visit windermere and kendal book here, you won't regret it.

Our comment - At one time we served breakfast from 8.00am til 9.00am but few people wanted it after 8.30am. On the occassions we were serving breakfasts at 9.00am we found it difficult completing our work and preparing the rooms in readiness for new guests arriving. After much thought we brought our last breakfast forward to 8.30am and the work issue disappeared.
