I feel your b&b is Gold Star for both pets and humans. Much thought has gone into your presentation, provision and the delivery of your business.

We like the cleanliness, the welcome, facilities and the location. We don't feel like second class citizens with our dogs because some places relegate us to the old rooms, not here though - everything is perfect.

Weekend over night stay
About 10 minutes off the M6 and Very easy to find. The hosts were really helpful, by prior arrangement, they let us collect a key and drop bags around mid day.
Offered a one night stay, which a lot of places would not for the weekend we went.
The room was large, clean, and well appointed - tea/coffee making, tv, cd and dvd players, and a veritable library of books, cds and dvds availble if you have the time or inclination.
Breakfast was excelent in all respects, even papers on hand.
We would definately recommend Beach Hill House and would use it again for exploring the southern end of the Lakes.

We liked everything! The breakfast was terrific; room was perfect; great and helpful hosts. We didn't expect such a wonderful stay, which was perfect. Hard to improve on facilities and service that is fantastic, and we will drive 400 miles just to come back.

You have an excellent web site with easy access and lots of detail. Cleanliness and brightness of our room; unmatched provisions for dogs; warmth of welcome from both humans and dogs along with attention to detail; an excellent shower and the best cooked breakfast ever!

Extremely well stocked room with many little touches you don't often find - cotton buds, number of towels, DVDs, biscuits etc. (and of course the comfort details for dogs). Very good breakfast and breakfast service

VERY pleasantly surprised
I'm not usually a fan of B&B's... but I had a great experience here. The owners were lovely, the house and rooms were clean, and the views were fantastic. The owners really showed their expertise in the hospitality field - they had thought of literally everything we could need! 17892124R

We stayed here on a Monday night. It was, I guess, what you would call a taster night as we have only owned our greyhound (Kim) for just over 5 months and we needed to start our dog-friendly UK breaks somewhere! Thankfully everything went perfectly and we would definitely visit again. Room 1 was perfect for us as we had our own entrance and patio decking, helped make it a little less daunting for our Kim. The place was great, didn’t know what to expect as we are used to our all inclusive resorts abroad. We chose this place for its greyhound connections and thought that would be the best place to start and it really didn’t disappoint. We didn’t see their dogs much, but because we had the patio area off our room, now and then you would see 6 cheeky faces over the fence which our Kim loved. So did we! The room was spotless, I was worried a dog friendly place might have a certain doggy smell, but it was the nicest smelling place I’ve ever stayed. Every attention to detail was there, even a bucket on the patio to wash muddy paws! Even the tea and coffee basket impressed me and I don’t drink it, shame. But I did bring a bottle of wine and there was a selection of glasses and corkscrew. They really have thought of everything. Little fridge so I could chill my left over packed lunch. Amazing. Also great DVD and book collection, I’ve never seen this in a hotel before!  As for the breakfast I have high standards as I used to work breakfast shifts in a few hotels. But it met and exceeded my expectations. Again every detail thought of, choice was vast, and very good quality meat. Felt guilty because I didn’t each much - I had ordered full English so I knew I wouldn’t have room for anything else. Fried bread was amazing! So yes, would definitely recommend. Also local pub is lovely, tad expensive but it was worth it. Charming place. Kim settled eventually – first timer!

Attention to detail and the fact that dogs are important guests too; excellent quality breakfasts with scrambled eggs NOT cooked in a microwave and fabulous sausages make such a change.

Incredible room facilities, thoughtfulness for guests, torch, fridge, everything required for dogs. The room didn't feel like a hotel, wonderful bathroom, felt very luxurious, high standards of finish. Loved the torch, sherry and mint and having great TV reception. It was a superb room and will definately stay again - no wonder you have 5* reviews.

The rooms are presented to a very high standard with everything imaginable provided. A lot of thought and detail has gone into welcoming guests and their dogs, from the mini dog hamper, to the welcome information and glass of sherry. Everything is clean and beautifully presented and as hosts you are very warm, friendly and welcoming without being over intrusive. I would find it very hard to suggest improvements and a prefect place to stay.
